TEAMVISION represents Mikkel Frølich Honoré, who will ride for the Belgian WorldTour Team Deceuninck – Quick Step beginning in 2019.

In the past season, Mikkel was able to impress with consistently strong performances on all terrains – whether as a domestique or captain. Impressive examples include the victory in the hilly one-day race Circuit de Wallonie, fifth place in the U23 edition of the Flemish classic Gent-Wevelgem and fourth overall in the Croatian stage race Istrian Spring Trophy.

These performances earned Mikkel a stagiaire position in what is currently the most successful team in the world – Quick-Step Floors – where he fulfilled all expectations and was rewarded with his first professional contract.

Mikkel’s journey led him to cycling at a very early age. At seven, he had already ridden his first race – together with his grandfather, who was himself an extremely passionate amateur cyclist. As time passed, he switched his old school bike for a racing bike and the successes grew bigger and bigger.

The 21-year-old Dane has already ridden the junior and U23 versions of the big classics Ronde van Vlaanderen, Paris-Roubaix, Liège–Bastogne–Liège and Il Lombardia; he has finished all of them in the top 10. These performances show the multifaceted potential he has for various classics. Quick- Step Floors, the classics team par excellence, also recognized this potential and signed him for the year 2019, after he had previously been able to successfully perform there as a stagiaire.

Mikkel’s great dream of turning his great passion into a profession has now come true. We at TEAMVISION are supporting him on this path!
